- Conserving and restoring both fashionable and vernacular antique furniture and modern classic furniture, for example, the Eileen Gray collection from the National Museum of Ireland
- In-situ conservation and restoration, including work on related materials such as upholstery, fabrics and locks
- Making intricate wooden structures and components to match with original elements, using appropriate techniques
- Conducting inventories and surveys of historic furniture, fittings and objects, supported by historical and analytical research
- Providing onsite maintenance for collections in museums, historic houses and other institutions
- Making recommendations on the care and preventative conservation of furniture and wooden artefacts to safeguard objects for the future
- Assessing, implementing and monitoring environmental conditions for furniture collections
- Providing a collection and delivery service for fragile and sensitive furniture
