Puroflo System

This is a peat filter waste water treatment system.  Septic tanks and a sump chamber are still required with this system. It is an alternative to a soak way and reed bed system but requires little or no effort on your account to maintain.

The waste water and solids are taken by gravity through a pipe into the first chamber of the sceptic tank, where the solids settle and the effluent water flows over into the second chamber. An out let filter and pipe from the second chamber allows the liquid to move over into the sump chamber. When the liquid reaches a specified level a pump is activated and draws the effluent through a pipe  and distributes it evenly onto the top grid of the puroflo system.  The Puroflo Systems are modules filled with bio -fibrous, coarse peat and filter the effluent to and acceptable level.
