Water Grant

Grants are available from your local authority if two or more properties with one water system. So if there are no water available, two neighbours can join up together for a private well.

The amount of grant payable depends on where the scheme is located. You should check with your local authority for details of your area.

A grant will usually cover 85% of the cost, with a limit of put on each house in the scheme. The group members must cover the balance of the cost.

It is up to the homeowners to arrange the finance and to decide how much each one will pay. And the cost has to be covered by them before the grants are paid.

Please check with your local authority before any work is carried out.
